A project in AppHandoff links one frontend repository to one backend repository and defines the scope for scanning, mismatch detection, and handoff ticket generation. Create a project from the portal dashboard by selecting your frontend and backend repos from the list of repositories accessible through the installed GitHub App.
Once connected, AppHandoff runs an initial scan that analyzes both codebases for API calls, endpoint definitions, and schema shapes. Subsequent scans run automatically on every push. The project dashboard shows the current mismatch count, recent scan history, and active handoff tickets in one view.
