Quick Start — Connect Your First Project in 5 Minutes

This guide walks you through creating an AppHandoff account, connecting your frontend and backend repositories, running your first scan, and reviewing the mismatch report. The entire process takes under five minutes for repositories hosted on GitHub.

Step one: sign up at apphandoff.com and install the GitHub App on your organization. Step two: create a new project in the portal and select your frontend and backend repositories. Step three: trigger the initial scan and wait for results. Step four: review detected mismatches on the project dashboard.

After the initial scan, AppHandoff automatically re-scans on every push to either repository. Mismatches appear as tickets on the shared Kanban board. You can assign tickets to team members or allow AI agents to pick them up through MCP.
